     RAD DESIGN’s inaugural edition, titled “WITH OR WITHOUT POETRY, WITH OR WITHOUT FUNCTION”, opening on May 16th, 2024 as part of RAD Art Fair in Bucharest, proposes an exploration of the balance, compromises and interplay of form and function. Viewers journey through a curated exhibition of collectible works that challenge traditional notions of purpose and aesthetics. Functionality has evolved throughout human history in the realm of objects, influenced by society’s needs and cultural shifts. While utility remains crucial, there’s a growing emphasis on symbolic and communicative aspects. Objects have become a form of personal and collective expression, reflecting taste and identity.
